The Palatine Pirates put together their beating the Prospect Knights 28-8 Friday.

Prospect's only score came late in the fourth quarter, long after the game had been decided. Palatine used a physical running game to control the contest and a deep passing game to put it away.

Only penalties marred the Pirate's effort. Unofficially (3-1) had 12 penalties.

"We're still feeling out what he can do naturally well," Donnelly said of his junior quarterback. "So you always want to do what their strengths are. What he has proven over and over again; he likes to throw the deep ball. He's pretty accurate with the deep ball."

Serio scored his second touchdown late in the third quarter. Palatine Patch has video of the score attached to this story. In the fourth quarter Olles hit Senior Wide Receiver Taylor Hall on a 76-yard pass to give Palatine a 28-0 lead.

Palatine's defense did not allow Prospect to mount much offensively. The Knights did not get a first down until 7:24 of the second quarter and that came courtesy of a Palatine pass interference penalty.

Prospect was held scoreless until 1:14 left in the game when Senior Quarterback Sam Frasco broke a 27-yard touchdown run.
