Palatine Gymnastics Team Going to Regionals
The Palatine Gymnastics team will represent Illinois at Regionals on May 1.
Seven members of the Level 8 Palatine Gymnastics team will represent Illinois at the Regionals-Area 5 gymnastics meet on May 1 in Lansing, Michigan.
The gymnasts advanced by receiving a qualifing All Around score greater than 34.0 at the Illinois Gymnastics meet held at Illinois State University's Horton Fieldhouse on April 8.
The girls have trained with the Palatine Gymnastics Club under the coaching of Elise Ference. The representatives are Mariah Gura, Emily Neal, Sydney Plichta, Claudia Pryztal, Christine Radochonski, Lisa Radochonski and Mary Smaga. The girls are students at Fremd High School, Plum Grove Junior High and Sundling Junior High.
