Palatine, Fremd Track Teams Compete at State
The boys state track meet was held in Charleston this past weekend.
The Palatine High School boys track and field team finished 31st out of 74 teams at the state meet this weekend in Charleston.
Cam Kuksa, a senior at Palatine High School, finished fourth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.61 seconds, according to preliminary results posted on the Illinois High School Association website.
Palatine's 4x800-meter relay finished in seventh place with a time of 7:52.81. The relay team included senior Christian Zambrano, senior Zach Stella, sophomore Graham Brown and senior Andrew Clingerman.

Fremd High School also competed at the state meet and finished in 74th place. Josh Yamamoto, a junior at Fremd High School, finished ninth in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles with a time of 40.60 seconds.
