Job Fair Today at Harper

More than 70 employers will gather at Harper College today for the annual Fall Job Fair. The event is free and open to the public.

The fair runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday,  in the lower level of the College's Wellness and Sports Center, Building M, on the main campus, 1200 W. Algonquin Road in Palatine. Parking is available in lots 1 and 2 off Algonquin Road.

Companies and employers scheduled to attend include American Chartered Bank, IKEA, the Palatine Fire Department, UPS and many more, all of whom have current job openings, according to a release from the college.

Registered employers attending the Job Fair represent full-time, part-time and internship positions in a number of career fields, including health care, manufacturing, food service, early childhood education, marketing, IT, engineering and others

Job seekers are advised to bring plenty of copies of their resume, research their companies of interest, dress to make a great first impression and plan to spend an hour or two meeting with employers.
