Wild About PHS - VIP Booster Club Dinner & Auction

Wild About PHS, the 27th Annual VIP Dinner and Auction fundraiser, will be presented by the Palatine High School Very Interested Parents (VIP) Booster Club Organization on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tickets to the event include hors d’oeuvres, dinner, a cash bar, raffles, and live and silent auctions. All funds raised support programs for the students at Palatine High School. Tickets are $50 per person, or $450 for a table of ten.  The event is again being held at Cotillion Banquets located at 360 Creekside Drive in Palatine.

Dress is casual, and those in attendance are encouraged to go wild with their attire this year. The event is open to everyone; attendees do not need to be members of the booster club to show their support of Palatine High School students. Tables and individual seating can be reserved through Feb. 14, 2011.  Reservation forms can be downloaded at www.phs.d211.org (click on VIP Booster Club on the left).  The evening promises to be another wonderful night shared with friends and neighbors, raising funds for the students of the Palatine community.

The Dinner and Auction is the main fundraising event presented by the VIP Booster Club Organization at Palatine High School.  Due to the generosity of many Palatine businesses and families, a wide variety of items will be available at the silent and live auctions.  A few of the highlights of this year’s offerings include:  4 box seats to a Chicago White Sox game, 2 box seats to the Sox-Cubs cross town classic at US Cellular Field, 2 tickets to a Bulls-Lakers game, 3 seats at the Bulls-Grizzlies game, tickets to see Bill Cosby at the Chicago Theater, 2 tickets to see Buddy Guy/Jimmie Vaughan at Rialto Square, box seats for 6 to Arlington Park Race Track, and a 6 night stay for 4 at the Grand Mayan Hotel in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.  In addition, there will be many theme baskets, gift certificates, and PHS items available at the auction and raffle tables. Funds raised at the event through ticket sales, raffles and auctions are used to support programs for Palatine High School students, including mini grants for teachers, student scholarships, a safe after-the-prom activity, the facilities fund and more.
