Think Virtues to Host Educational Seminar at Midtown Athletic Club

Think Virtues, a comprehensive program aiming to assist parents and educators in teaching children moral character, will be hosting an educational seminar at Midtown Athletic Club in Palatine on Saturday, April 14. The creative forces behind Think Virtues, Author Kathy Motlagh and Educational Director Sara Motlagh, will be discussing how their comprehensive program entertains and empowers children while teaching them the value of virtues such as compassion, helpfulness, empathy and love.

Guests will be introduced to the Think Virtues tools including, a children’s novel entitled Eutopia, The Discovery. A bridge between a chapter and picture book, children learn the value of the outlined virtues through the adventures of the story’s two main characters, Kyle and Kameron. This story of practicing virtues to promote good within the world will awaken kid’s thoughts about good behavior and give them a better sense of being.

Complimenting the lessons taught in Eutopia, Think Virtues also offers a set of 52 Virtue Cards to encourage the practicing of virtues in children’s everyday lives. Written by Think Virtues Director of Education, Sara Motlagh, these cards promote families to have meaningful discussions as well as teach children and adults alike what is expected of them as human beings. By focusing on a different virtue each week, children not only feel encouraged to practice their virtues, but also enjoy discussions about virtues with friends and family.
