The 2011 Special Education College Night, held at the Forest View Educational Center, is sponsored by the Northwest Suburban Education to Career Partnership. It is intended to help families of special education students in Township High School Districts 211 and 214 and Barrington Community Unit School District 220 explore post-secondary education options.
There will be panel discussions on Career Training Programs from 6:00-6:30 p.m., 4-year Colleges/Universities from 6:30-7:00 p.m., Life Skills Training Programs from 7:00-7:30 p.m. and Community College Options from 7:30-8:00 p.m.
The College and Career Fair, from 6:00-8:30 p.m., features representatives from colleges and post-secondary institutions who will provide literature about their programs and answer questions.
