District 15 will be holding a Community Communication Forum Wednesday, October 24.
The forum will provide parents and residents with an update on the financial outlook of the school district. It will be held at 7 p.m. at the District 15 main offices, 580 North 1st Bank Drive, Palatine.
In the April 2013 election, four school board seats will be open, and D15 Nominating Petitions are currently being accepted until December 24.
"This is an excellent way to serve the community. If you know anyone who may be interested in running for the District 15 (or District 211) school board I'd be happy to answer any questions," said Scott Herr, Distict 15 school board member.
