Salt Creek Preschool’s Prekindergarten Students Donate Scarves to the Palatine Opportunity Center

On Thursday, December 12, 2013, students from Salt Creek Preschool in Palatine, Illinois, spent some of their day helping the community by donating homemade scarves to needy children. The scarves were donated to the Palatine Opportunity Center, a non-profit organization that welcomes and introduces families and individuals in need to the Palatine community. The students, with their teachers’ guidance, created no-sew fleece scarves with their families. The prekindergarteners have been learning about the importance of proper cold-weather attire. Salt Creek Preschool is part of Salt Creek Rural Park District, Palatine, Illinois. Salt Creek Preschool serves the communities for Palatine, Arlington Heights and Rolling Meadows.
