"The work goes a little beyond a standard resurfacing," said Village Engineer Michael Danecki.

For example, Danecki said that curb and gutter also will be added along Plum Grove Road and drainage will be upgraded. Danecki said work should begin at the end of this month. He said that there should not be any lane closures associated with the work.

There also will be some work done on Oak Street between Gilbert Road and Glade Road. Danecki said Oak Street will be separated and will dead-end, with turnarounds being added on both sides of the separated street.
