Palatine Welcomes New Firefighters

The Palatine Fire Department promoted eight firefighters and held badge pinning for six new firefighters.

The Palatine Fire Department promoted eight firefighters and introduced six new firefighters during the Monday Village Council meeting.

Bill Gabrenya and Pat Gratzianna were promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief. Doug Hoyt and Fred Johnson were promoted to the rank of Battalion Chief. Randy Dowell and Anthony Lavacchi were promoted to Captain. Dave Huemann and Keith VonderHeide were promoted to Lieutenant.

Palatine also welcomed six new firefighters: Matt Vonau, Beau Buhs, Chris Farnsworth, Russ Hammer, Alan Stenger and Dallas Hoag.
