Palatine Police Blotter: Battery to Cop, DUI, Theft

• Jackelyn Sansone, 30, of the 0-100 block of Forest Place, Buffalo Grove, was arrested Nov. 23 in the 1300 north block of Frontage Road after the driver of the vehicle she was in was stopped for suspected DUI. Sansone was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer and resisting a peace officer. 

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

• Unknown offender(s) entered a black 06 Honda minivan and took a tan leather GAP purse with contents ($180) from under the driver’s seat between 10:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 20. at the Buehler Y.M.C.A., 1400 W. Northwest Highway. 

Criminal Damage

• Unknown offender(s) entered a fenced maintenance area at the Palatine Hills Golf Course 946 N. Smith Street and cut a padlock off a fuel pump between 7 a.m. on Nov. 23 and 6 a.m. on Nov. 24. Cost of damage is unknown.

DUI

• Angel V. Rivera, 35, of the 1900 north block of Green Lane North, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. on Nov. 21 after being involved in a crash with minor injuries in the 1900 north block of Baldwin Road. He was charged with DUI, DUI with a BAC over .08, misdemeanor reckless driving, improper lane usage, operating an uninsured vehicle and failure to wear a seatbelt.

• Ramiro Aguilar-Hernandez, 20, of the 1800 block of Green Lane South, was arrested at 11:05 p.m. on Nov. 21 near his residence. He was charged with DUI, DUI with a BAC over .08 and operating an uninsured vehicle.

• Michelle N Kotch, 27, of the 23500 block of Cottage Road, was arrested at 4 a.m. on Nov. 23 in the 1300 north block of Frontage Road. She was charged with DUI and improper lane usage. Passenger Jackelyn Sansone, 30, of the 0-100 block of Forest Place, Buffalo Grove, was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer and resisting a peace officer. 

• Reed A. Peterson, 34, of the 1400 block of Nottingham Lane, Hoffman Estates, was arrested at 3:32 a.m. on Nov. 24 in the 600 west block of Palatine Road. He was charged with DUI and improper lane usage.

Theft

• Unknown offender(s) removed $500 of scrap metal from a dumpster at Three Sky Investments, 330 W. Colfax St., between 5 p.m. on Nov. 22 and 7 a.m. on Nov. 23.

• Unknown offender(s) removed $5,000 of copper wire at a building under construction in the 2300 north block of Rand Road sometime between Nov. 15 and Nov. 22.
