Criminal Damage to Vehicle
Unknown offender(s) smashed the rear window of a 2002 Mazda in the 400 block of Palatine Rd. sometime between March 1 at 11:45 p.m. and March 2 at 11:50 p.m. Damage estimates were not immediately available.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle
Unknown offender(s) unlocked a vehicle (unknown make and model) parked in the Gator’s Wing Shack, 1719 N. Rand Rd. on March 2 between 10 p.m. and 10:14 p.m. Taken was an iPod Touch valued at $300, a wallet, various ID cards and $2 in cash.

Theft
Unknown offender(s) broke into a padlocked storage locker in the 900 block of N. Countryside Dr. sometime between Feb. 1 and Feb. 27 at 10:30 p.m. Taken was a Tenba brand storage case valued at $800, two Speedotron photography flash power packs valued at $1,200 each, and two Speedotron Flash heads valued at $350 each.
Unknown offender(s) took a locked male Schwinn black bicycle with a child seat attached to it from the Palatine Train Depot, 137 W. Wood St. on Feb. 25 between 6:30 a.m. and 7:40 p.m. The bike is valued at $300.
Retail Theft
Joseph Rogel, 33, of the 800 block of Fair Ln., Northbrook, was charged with Retail Theft at Home Depot, 825 E. Dundee Rd., on March 2 at 5:21 p.m. Rogel removed a thermostat valued at $130.78, then left the store, re-entered and attempted to return the item for store credit.
Residential Burglary
Unknown offender(s) entered an unlocked residence in the 1000 block of Lilac Pl. on March 4 between 12:20 p.m. and 4 p.m. Taken was a Toshiba laptop valued at $650, XBOX 360 video game system valued at $300, a Sanyo 24 inch plasma television valued t $250 and a purse valued at $30.
