Palatine Police and Fire Departments Announce New Hires, Promotions

There are some new faces on the Palatine Police and Fire Departments, replacing recent retirees. A badge pinning ceremony was held at Monday's Palatine Village Council meeting.

The Palatine Village Council on Monday night recognized police officers and firefighters who recently joined the departments, along with those who received promotions. Many proud family members were in attendance for the badge pinnings.

Firefighter Norman Bemis was promoted to Lieutenant
