Man Whose Semi Veered Off Road in Palatine Died of Heart Attack, Authorities Say

A 52-year-old Chicago man died of a heart attack while driving a semi-truck on Lake-Cook Road in Palatine.

A 52-year-old Chicago man whose semi-truck veered off the road in Palatine Monday night died due to heart problems, the Daily Herald reports.

George L. Tsoutsos drove off Lake-Cook Road and into a ditch on Old Hicks Road around 7:30 p.m. before his truck hit a sound barrier fence, according to the Daily Herald.

Tsoutsos suffered a heart attack, according to the Chicago Tribune

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and no one else was injured, the Tribune reports.
