Gas Leak Forces Road Closure in Palatine

A two-inch main ruptured Tuesday morning in Palatine, forcing officials to close the intersection of Northwest Highway and Plum Grove Road as Nicor crews worked on the gas leak, according to the Daily Herald. 

No one was injured in the incident, no buildings were evacuated and all lanes of traffic were reopened by Tuesday afternoon, the Daily Herald reports.
