Palatine Marching Band performs at Brighton Collectibles

The Palatine Area Community Marching Band delivered a patriotic performance at Brighton Collectibles in Deer Park on Thursday, June 21. The band practices two evenings per week in June in preparation for their annual performance in the Palatine Fourth of July Parade. This year's parade is scheduled for Saturday, June 30 and the band will once again be marching. Adult musicians are invited to register to join the group each spring; marching experience is not required.

A variety of performing arts groups from the Palatine Park District will be performing at Brighton Collectibles in Deer Park through July 31. The store is participating in the Brighton Loves Kids Across America event that raises funds to supports arts programming for children in each store's community.  This year, the Deer Park store chose two recipients: the Palatine Park Foundation Susannah's Gift Scholarship Fund and Illinois Youth Theater, a group located in Deer Park. Funds are raised through the sale of the patriotic Americana bracelet. See more at www.brighton.com.
