Services Planned : Annette Tanouye of Palatine

Visitation will be held for Mrs. Annette Tanouye, 84, of Palatine, on Monday, November 5, 2012 from 4:00PM until the time of funeral service at 7:00PM, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., in Palatine.   

Annette was born on June 17, 1928, in Amsterdam, Holland to Gerardus and Grietje Boshuizen.  She passed away on November 2, 2012 at her home in Palatine.

She was the beloved wife of the late Akira J. Tanouye; beloved mother of Linda (Ken) Hertler and the late Ronald; adored grandmother of Yamiko Schultz, Alyssa (Michael) Pellicori, Erika (James) Kleronomos, and Kristina Hertler.  She was the loving sister of Gerard (the late Adrie) Boshuizen and Margaret (Gus) Scalchas, and the late Marie (the late Hank) Engel; caring mother-in-law of Kathleen Tanouye; and the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Humane Society of the United States, 2100 L Street, NW, Washington, DC 20037.
