The visitation for Richard S. Busczynski, 74, of Palatine will be held on Thursday, Oct. 4, from 3 p.m. to 9p.m. at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, located at 185 E. Northwest Highway in Palatine. The visitation will resume Friday, Oct. 5 at Holy Family Catholic Church located at 2515 W. Palatine Road in Inverness at 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
Richard was the beloved husband of Betty Ann Warner; loving father of Ron (Sheila Nash) Busczynski; proud grandfather of Brielle and Bennett Busczynski; dear brother of Del Busczynski and brother-in-law of Maryk and Bogdan (Colleen) Dobrzynski; fond uncle of Kyle Dobrzynski.
Richard was preceded in death by his first wife, Cheswyn and his parents, John and Florence Busczynski.
A union painter, Richard was also an accomplished model by the name of "Apollo" and professional dancer. Born July 06, 1938, Richard passed away on Sept. 30, 2012.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Richard's name to the American Cancer Society, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Suite 1200, Chicago, IL 60601 would be appreciated.
