Obituary: Stefan Kowatsch of Palatine
Visitation will be held Friday, January 18 and the funeral on Saturday, January 19.
Stefan Kowatsch of Palatine was born on January 30, 1918 and passed away on January 14.
Kowatsch, 94, was the beloved husband of the late Elisabeth, nee Hernrich, loving father of Christa (Joseph) Gehard, proud grandfather of Linda and Steven Gehard, dear uncle of Hilde (John) Herzig and the late Steve Kueffner.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 18 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway. The funeral will be held Saturday, January 19 beginning at 9:30 a.m. from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home to St. Theresa Catholic Church, for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
