Obituary: Lorraine Grace Gallagher of Palatine

Lorraine Grace Gallagher passed away on August 23rd, 2013. She was born in Chicago on January 21st, 1925 to Harry and Rose Delfs. 

She married Joseph Gallagher on June 25th, 1949. Joseph preceded her in death. One son Richard Scott Gallagher also preceded her in death. 

Lorraine is survived by two sons William (wife Deborah) of Greenfield, Indiana and Daniel (wife Ann) of Sandy, Utah; Nine grandchildren Erin, Kenton, Patrick, Keri, and Sean Gallagher of Indiana. James Gallagher (West Virginia), Jeffrey Gallagher (Texas), Amy Gallagher (Colorado), and Jonathan Gallagher (Iowa), and seven great grandchildren.

Nonnie was one of the rare individuals who knew what she wanted to do from childhood – to be a wife and mother – and did that her entire life with great love and enthusiasm.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 27th from 11:00AM until time of the Funeral Service at 1:30PM at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel, Palatine.
