Obituary: Gunnar O. Collins of Palatine
The life of Gunnar O. Collins of Palatine will be honored and remembered on Friday, July 26.
Gunnar O. Collins, 80, of Palatine was born September 4, 1932 in Meadville, PA, and he passed away July 18, 2013 at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights.
Survivors include his sons, Gunnar Collins, Michael (Laurie) Collins, and Patrick Collins; grandchildren, Steven Collins, David Collins, Ashley Collins, Joshua Collins, Sean Collins, and Cody Collins; Great-Granddaughter, Siana Grace Collins; and his sister, Barbara (Ray) White.
Gunnar was preceded in death by his wife, Sue G. Collins (nee Grindrod), and his parents.

Memorial visitation for Gunnar will be held Friday, July 26, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 8:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine, IL 60067.
The Reverend Michael B. Morris will officiate.
