Lois E. Badour, 85, Formerly of Rolling Meadows

Lois E. Badour, 85, of Streamwood, and a former longtime resident of Rolling Meadows, passed away peacefully Dec. 8.

Visitation for will be held on Thursday, Dec. 12, from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights. 

Lois was born on Feb. 11, 1928, in Oak Park, the daughter of the late George and Rose (nee Hora) Bromann.

Beloved wife of the late Alan D. Badour, Sr.; loving mother of DeAnn Badour and  Alan (Susan) Badour, Jr.; cherished grandmother of Melissa (Douglas) George, Gregory (Carrie) Badour, Laura (Oscar) Torres, Kimberly (Kevin Koster) Boshold and Sean (Angie) O'Hanlon; dear great grandmother of 6; preceded in death by her sister Shirley (the late Howard) Pollitz.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Lois would be appreciated for, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN  38105 or to St. Paul United Church of Christ, 144 E. Palatine Road, Palatine, IL  60067.
