Services for Elodia M. Perez will begin with prayers on Saturday Sept. 10, at 8:30 a.m. at the , 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, proceeding to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.

Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.  Visitation will be held on Friday Sept. 9 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Elodia was born on Jan. 20, 1931 in Carrizo Springs, Texas the daughter of the late Celestino and Mariana (Sanchez) Martinez and passed away peacefully with her devoted family at her bedside on Wednesday Sept. 7. 

She is the beloved wife of the late Rosendo Perez, loving mother of 11, devoted grandmother of 23; cherished great grandmother of 29; dear sister of  Valentin, Epifanio and Simona Martinez, Lupe Mireles, Pedro Martinez, Rosa Narvaez and Carlos Sanchez; also survived by  many, many beloved nieces and nephews.
