Funeral services for Donald G. Utt, 81, of Palatine for 55 years, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 26 at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home.
Donald passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 22 at Northwest Community Hospital, in Arlington Heights, surrounded by his family.

Donald was a lover of animals and music; and played several instruments. He was very devoted to his family, and with him, his family always came first.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Beverly M. Utt (nee Edinger); daughters, Donna (David) Lemons and Marilyn (Rick) Andersen; son, David (Sue) Utt; granddaughters, Amie (Jonathan) Walla and Sarah Utt; grandsons, Jason Utt and Ryan Andersen; great-grandchildren, Nathanael Walla and Vanessa Walla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund A. and Catherine (nee Cordon) Utt; brothers, Edmund M. Utt and Gerald B. Utt.
