Learn to be a community organizer

Northwest Suburbs Organizing for Action (NWSOFA) is looking for a few people to join OFA's Fall Fellows program. OFA Fall Fellows will be part of a three-month volunteer program where they'll learn and apply their organizing skills.

This fall, we'll be working hard to tell the stories of how Obamacare is working, making sure the House votes on comprehensive immigration reform, pressuring Congress to take action on climate change, and on keeping the economy on the right track -- and much more. It's going to be hard work, but also a lot of fun.

This is a great opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills, and make your voice heard in your community. It's also a great opportunity for students to earn community service credits and to learn from experts how organizing is done.

Don't miss out. Applications are due on August 8th -- so get yours in or pass this along to anyone who should apply today. Call (224) 241-2012 or email info@nwsofa.org for more details.
