The 2013 Fremd Girls Gymnastics team advance to Sectionals on Monday, February 4, at Fremd High School. (6:30 pm)
The Lady Vikes are 2013 Conference champions, held at Palatine High School, January 25th, with a score of 148.275, followed by Prospect 143.675 and Palatine 143.075. Fremd freshman, Carly DeFlippo, placed 4th on vault (9.65). Fremd sophomore, Sydney Plichta placed 2nd on bars wiht a 9.6, Plichta also scored a 9.6 on Beam in 1st place. Senior, Emily Pinderski place 4th on Floor, 9.425.
At Regionals on Tuesday, January 29, Fremd was the Champion with 143.525, followed by Lake Park (136.275), Rolling Meadows (130.575) and Maine West (115.175).

Vault scores for Fremd were: Christine Jensen (3rd) -9.30, Christine Radochonski (4th) - 9.15, Lisa Radochonski (5th) - 9.125, Mary Smaga (6th) - 8.9, and Maggie Betti (8th) 8.85.
Bars Fremd held 1st through 4th places: Sydney Plichta (9.325), Emily Neal (9.3), Emily Pinderski (9.25), Mary Smaga (8.9). Junior Christine Jensen placed 6th with a 8.525.

Balance Beam results were: Christine Jensen (2nd) - 8.85, Sydney Plichta (4th) -8.725, Christine Radochonski (5th) -8.65, Lisa Radochonski (6th) -8.6, Mariah Gura (9th) - 8.350.
Floor Exercise placements: Emily Neal (2nd) -9.2, Christine Radochonski (4th) 9.05, Anna Johnson (9th) 8.85, Emily Pinderski (13th) and Christine Jensen (15th) 8.225.
Junior, Christine Jensen, was the Fremd All Around gymnast, with a final score of 8.725, capturing third.
