IL AG wants even more time to consider concealed carry appeal
SPRINGFIELD – Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan has known since late last year that the state is facing a deadline to enact a new concealed carry law. But Madigan says she’s been too busy to decide how to handle the issue, and now she wants more time to think about it.
Madigan on Monday filed a request with the United States Supreme Court, asking for another extension on Illinois’ deadline to have a new weapons law on the books.
