Food Drive for National Hunger Action Month

Two Men and a Truck collect non-perishable foods in Des Plaines on Sept. 14.

On Sept. 14, from noon to 4 p.m., the Des Plaines-based business, Two Men and a Truck, will be parked in front of the Sam’s Club at 101 W. Oakton in Des Plaines to collect food.

Customers of Sam’s Club will be invited to donate non-perishable food for the Catholic Charities Food Pantry serving the Northwest suburbs. Collections will also take place throughout the month of September at the Oakton, Miner, Golf and Rand Walgreens in Des Plaines.
