American Legion Auxiliary Holds Paint and Drink Event

The Palatine American Legion Auxiliary Post 690 is holding a Vino van Gogh Paint, Drink & be Merry fundraiser which is open to the public at Noon and runs until approximately 2:30 PM on Sunday, January 12th at Lamplighters 60 North Bothwell Street in Palatine to raise funds for Legion Family Charities.

“If you are a budding artist or just want to try to paint a piece of art, this project is for you,” said Lisa Wente, Co-Chair of the Project.  “You’ll receive step by step instructions on how to create your own version of the painting Red Poppies and enjoy a drink while you’re painting.”

The fee is $40.00 per person and Vino van Gogh supplies all the art supplies.  Advanced registration is available at vinogogh.com.  Due to the nature of the fundraiser no discounts, gift certificates or social media coupons will be accepted.  Vino Van Gogh will be donating a portion of the proceeds to Legion Family Charities, according to Project Co-Chair Nicolle Carfagnini.
