joined with thousands of other communities Sunday, Sept. 11 in a National Moment of Remembrance of the 10th Anniversary of Sept. 11.

The activities included a memorial procession from Fire Station 85 on Colfax Street to the Palatine Firefighters' Memorial located downtown near Slade and Brockway Streets.

There were 415 flags adjacent to the Firefighters' Memorial site in remembrance of the fire and police first responders who lost their lives on 9/11.
