Cookie Cards Announces Cookie Contest Finalists, Now It’s Your Turn to Decide

Since announcing its first ever Cookie Contest last month, Cookie Cards in downtown Palatine has had the pleasure of sifting through delicious cookie ideas submitted by the public.  Cookie Cards has narrowed the field of competition down to three finalists whose cookies are currently in the bakery for the entire month of May.  The cookie that sells the most, wins! The three finalists are: 

Fig Overload
This super moist, chewy oatmeal cookie is loaded with dried, black mission figs that plump up during baking.  We combine all natural ingredients like agave nectar, flaxseed, and gluten free flour to make this cookie not only scrumptious but gluten free and vegan!  Submitted by Holly Amore

Almond Butter Bacon
Our newest twist on one of our best sellers (the peanut butter cookie).  We substitute peanut butter with almond butter in this chewy cookie and add crispy salty bacon!  It has bacon - what's not to love?! Submitted by Kim Ruiz

Pomegranate Walnut
They're not just for juicing anymore.  This antioxidant-rich superfruit bursts in your mouth when biting into this crunchy yet chewy walnut based cookie. Submitted by Eden Grabianski

The grand prize winner will walk away with 50 custom decorated cookies and a custom cake for 50 people.  The second place winner will receive a tasting party in the bakery for 10 guests.  The third place winner will receive a dozen cookies of his/her choice every month for a year.
