Seven Attorneys at Lavelle Law Recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine

The 2014 list of Super Lawyers in Illinois as selected by Super Lawyers Magazine includes seven attorneys from Palatine’s Lavelle Law, Ltd. Two of the attorneys received Super Lawyer designation while five others were listed as Rising Stars. Super Lawyers uses a patented 3rd party nomination and selection process to rate attorneys with approximately 5% receiving Super Lawyer Status while those under 40 with less than 10 years experience can be recognized as Rising Stars, a designation assigned to just over 2% of all attorneys in the state.

Founding Partner Kerry Lavelle was named a Super Lawyer in Taxation, while Partner Matthew Sheahin was named a Super Lawyer in Litigation for the 4th consecutive year. Attorneys are nominated and evaluated by their peers and are reviewed by the Research Department at Super Lawyers Magazine. Evaluations cover twelve indicators across various elements of professional achievement and peer recommendation including verdicts and settlements, representative clients, experience, honors and awards, community service, and writing and lectures.

Among the Lavelle Law attorneys recognized as Rising Stars were Partners Cameron Monti, in Business/Corporate, and Amil Alkass in Family Law. Associates Lance Ziebell (Litigation), Kristina Regal (Gaming), and Joshua Nesser (Taxation) were also selected as Rising Stars.
