COMCAST BUSINESS NAMES GREATER CHICAGO REGION WINNERS OF INNOVATIONS 4 ENTREPRENEURS COMPETITION

 Comcast Business and Inc. Magazine announced the two Greater Chicago Region (GCR) winners of their “Innovations 4 Entrepreneurs” (I4E) competition.  Each of the GCR winners will receive a $5,000 cash award, plus complimentary Comcast Business Internet and TV service for two years, along with a $2,500 allocation for other Comcast services.  In addition, the winners will receive services for one year from Comcast Upware partners Cisco, Microsoft, Symantec, DocuSign, Soonr and Swiftpage Engage.  GCR winners are:

·         Located in Palatine, IL, Cairnedge Consulting’s mission is to help small- and medium-sized businesses find economical and practical solutions to the everyday technology and marketing challenges they face; and

·         Old St. Mary’s School, a Catholic school in Chicago’s South Loop neighborhood that serves more than 300 preschool through 8th grade students.

The two regional winners were selected based on essays they submitted about how they use technology to enhance the customer or employee experience.  Entries were judged by John Jantsch, marketing consultant, speaker and best-selling author of Duct Tape Marketing, The Commitment Engine and The Referral Engine, and Anita Campbell, founder, CEO and publisher of Small Business Trends. 

Regional winners were entered into a national competition to receive an additional $20,000 cash award and other prizes.  National grand prize winners will be announced the week of June 23, 2014.
