ESPN 1000's Waddle and Silvy Coming to Lamplighter
ESPN 1000 morning hosts Waddle and Silvy will do a live broadcast from 9 a.m. to noon at Palatine's Lamplighter's on St. Patrick's Day.
ESPN 1000's Waddle & Silvy show will from Lamplighter's Thursday, March 17 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Lamplighter Tavern & Grille, 60 N. Bothwell St., Palatine, received the most votes in the online "Heineken Light March to Refreshment" contest. The downtown Palatine bar beat out 31 other establishments in winning the opportunity to host an ESPN broadcast.
The sports talk Waddle & Silvy Show is comprised of former Chicago Bears wide receive Tom Waddle and radio host Marc Silverman.

"We're very excited to have them here," said Tyler Beaty, a manager at Lamplighter's. "Especially on St. Patrick's Day."
The lower level of Lamplighter's opens at 6 a.m. Thursday. The broadcast will be on the upper floor which will be open to the public at 8 a.m. Beaty said Lamplighter's full menu will be available.
