When and how did your business get started? The business started in May of 2011 in our former location in Schaumburg. I started the business because I do real estate staging, Feng Shui consultations and professional organizing. My clients would often have things that they no longer needed and consignment was a natural segment to my business so that they could sell what they no longer needed or wanted.

What is your business best known for?
Consignment and resale of furniture, home decor, antiques and collectibles. My customers often say that I have very interesting and unique items. It wouldn't be possible without the consignors that bring them in.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know? This is a consignment shop, which means that you can bring items in to sell. After it sells, you get 50 percent of the selling price.

Why did you choose Palatine to open your business? Location, location, location! I have always loved Palatine and the opportunity arose to transplant my business there.
