Dillard running mate speaks for first time at PTRO Meeting

Interested in seeing a political first?  Last Tuesday Kirk Dillard, candidate for governor, announced his running mate, State Rep Jil Tracy.  She will be making her first public appearance in the Chicago area on Saturday, September 7th at The Palatine Township Republican Organization (PTRO) regular monthly meeting starting at 9:00 AM with the doors opening at 8:30 AM at the PTRO office at 839 N. Quentin Road in Palatine.

“We are excited that our meeting will be Jil Tracy’s first public forum in the Chicago area since joining the Dillard ticket,” said Aaron Del Mar, Palatine Township Republican Committeeman.  “Jil will be sharing with us why she is running for Lieutenant Governor and her work on the bipartisan pension panel.”

State Representative Tracy (R-Quincy) was announced to be Dillard’s choice for Lt. Governor on Tuesday.  She was born in Carbondale, Illinois and lives in Anna.  She graduated from Southern Illinois University with both a bachelor’s degree and a law degree.  Tracy has been in the State House since 2006.
