Tax Appeal Questions Answered at Republican September Meeting

The Palatine Township Republican Organization (PTRO), the official Republican organization of Palatine Township, will feature Bruno Behrend from For The Good Of Illinois at their regular monthly meeting which is free and open to the public on Saturday, September 1st starting at 9:00 AM with the doors opening at 8:30 AM at the PTRO office at 839 N. Quentin Road in Palatine.

“Our meeting will feature Bruno Behrend the Executive Director from For The Good Of Illinois,” said Aaron Del Mar, Palatine Township Republican Committeeman.  “Bruno will be discussing the ‘Open the Books’ project and ‘How to Use Open the Books to Lower your Property Tax.’  It’s going to be a very eye-opening and informative meeting for any homeowner.”

The following weekend on Sunday, September, 9th will be the annual Northwest Republican Family Picnic.  “From 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM attendees will be able to enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob, games and good friends,” said Del Mar.  “This critical fundraiser will help us fund our November 2012 general election operations.  Each $25.00 ticket includes admission, food and drink for the whole family as well as one $5.00 entry to the 50/50 Raffle.  Last year’s raffle prize was over $1,000.00!”

Founded in 2010 by newly elected Palatine Township Republican Committeeman Aaron Del Mar, PTRO coordinates the Republican Party’s efforts in the township.  Led by Del Mar and President Collin Corbett, PTRO promotes the foundational principles of the Republican Party, namely fiscal responsibility, personal accountability and limited, transparent government, and works to elect Republican candidates who espouse those principles.
