The Palatine Hometown Fest parade will be on Saturday, July 5th beginning at 10:00 AM. It will start at Wilson & Cedar, continue on Slade to Brockway, head North on Brockway to Wood and head East on Wood to Oak.
We all love a good parade and love to show our patriotism, With some proper parade etiquette you can make the experience both enjoyable and safe.
- Keep a close eye on your child(ren).
- Keep your pets on a leash and maintain control of them.
- Stay on the curb and out of the street.
- Don't let your child(ren) run into the street for candy.
- Do not try to cross the street in front of vehicles in the parade.
- Do not throw items at the parade participants.
- Do not throw items across the street.
- Clean-up after you and your family and pets.
- Be courteous and do not push or argue with others.
- Enjoy The parade.
