Holiday Guide: Palatine Jaycees Annual Tree Sale

The 55th annual Christmas tree sale raises money to help civic groups and individuals around the area.

The Palatine Jaycees will start the season selling Christmas trees Friday, November 23 in the parking lot of the Palatine Park District Aquatic Center. The trees will be available for sale every Thursday through Sunday until December 16.

Sale hours will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Aquatic Center parking lot is located on Palatine Road just west of Northwest Highway behind the Walgreens.

Money raised by the tree sales will go towards helping civic groups and individuals in the Palatine area. The Palatine Chapter of the Jaycees is one of the nearly 100 local Chapters and one of the largest chapters in Illinois.

The Palatine Chapter holds their monthly general meeting on the third Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the American Legion Hall on Palatine Road in Palatine.
