American Legion to Host Baggo Tournament

The Sons of the American Legion will host a baggo tournament on Feb. 20.

The Sons of the American Legion will host a baggo tournament Sunday, Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. at the American Legion Hall 122 W. Palatine Road.

The tournament will raise funds for Legion Family Charities, a press release from the legion states.

"Come out, play some bags and have some fun," stated Jeff Johnson, Sons of American Legion Commander, in a press release. "You'll be able to participate in a bags tournament and enjoy some great food. To go along with the tournament, we'll have pigeon races, a rubber duck toss and raffles."

Baggo tournament registration begins at 11 a.m. Advance registration is encouraged because spots are limited. Teams can register in advance in the club room with the bartender.

Teams of two can register their team for $20 in advance or $25 at the door. The entry fees include chips and a hot dog or sub sandwich. There will be cash prizes for first and second place, the press release states.
