The following tips are meant for your first week, but they are valuable advice for any point in your academic career.

Start Your Day Right - Get a good night's sleep and have a healthy breakfast in the morning. How you start your day can affect how you feel throughout the rest of it.

Plan Ahead - Pack your bag and pick your outfit the night before, this gives you extra time in the morning.

Do Your Homework - Before your classes begin, it’s a good idea to look over the textbook and any digital syllabi your professors may have made available.

Make a Schedule - Visit your classes beforehand so you know how long it will take you to get there. Allocate a little extra time for traffic.

Take Time for Yourself - Try to schedule lunch or coffee with a friend if you have time. Taking a moment to decompress can really help.

Stay Ahead - It can be tempting to wait until the last minute to do your work. Try to get off to the right start by finishing your first assignments early.

Hopefully, you find some of these tips helpful as you make your big transition. Good luck at College!
