Presidential Candidate Herman Cain: 'Raise Some Cain in 2012'

Herman Cain was the only presidential candidate to speak at the Tea Party Midwest convention in Schaumburg.

Presidential candidate Herman Cain told a supportive crowd to stay informed and inspired during the 2012 election season.

Cain was the only candidate to speak live at TEACON 2011, the Tea Party's Midwest convention.

"Don't be ashamed," he said. "It is your right and responsibility. They want you to believe they can't to this."

Cain was the clear leader of a presidential straw poll conducted at the event, receiving more than 75 percent of the votes.

A straw poll in Florida last week came out in Cain's favor. He said it was a message "to the media and to the establishment."

"The voice of the people is more powerful than the voice of the media," he said. "And the message is more important than the money. We the people are still in charge of this country."

God Bless Herman Cain. Please pick Joe Walsh as your Veep cantidate. You are a shining example that black people can go far in the United States if they beleive in the same things that we do. To those who accuse the Tea Party of being racist, Mr. Cain is proof that it is not!

All I know about Cain is that Bill Bennett (Morning in America radio show, former Reagan cabinet) is his pal. I like Bill Bennett a lot, so I'll give the guy another chance. I never cared for hearing him when he fillied in for Bill, though.

Oddly enough, the radio station that sponsored this dumped Bill Bennett (and thus Cain) for some second rate local "talent" about 5 years ago. Regret that yet WIND? I wouldn't know because I haven't listened to them since.

Herman Cain is a fine American. I'm glad that he's able to brush off the idiots and racists who try to pigeonhole him as "this or that". He was not born into wealth, and has taken more than one company over and made it successful. He has also been the top guy for the National Restaurant Association. A very smart and successful man who has much more common sense than the current president does.
