Palatine to Get Portion of Deer Park Sales Tax

The Palatine Village Council this past week agreed to supply a new retail development in Deer Park with its water and will in exchange get 20 percent of the sales tax from that development, according to the Daily Herald. 

The new retail development, which will be located south of Deer Park Center on Rand Road, would need 25,000 gallons of water per day, which Palatine officials said was feasible for Palatine to supply, according to the article. The Daily Herald reports it is unclear at this point what businesses are planned for the new development.
