Chicago Man Sentenced for Shooting in Palatine

A 19-year-old Chicago man was sentenced to four years in prison after entering a guilty plea to aggravated discharge of a firearm for firing a gun last May at people who were outside an apartment in Palatine, according to the Daily Herald. 

Freddy Robles was also sentenced to one year in prison after he pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance, according to the article. The shooting occurred around 1:30 a.m. on May 4 in the 1800 block of Green Lane North, according to the Daily Herald.
