“Prevention of Illness Series: Smoking Cessation and Weight Loss”

Maintaining a healthy weight and eliminating
tobacco use are key components in preventing many illnesses.  Learn how to enlist the secret weapon of your
deeper mind to change your relationship to nicotine and/or food.  Using the power of self-hypnosis, this
two-part series will provide effective ways to lose weight and to stop smoking.  A group hypnotic induction will add strength
to your subconscious, giving each individual additional power to fight the
urges to smoke and overeat.  Both events
are facilitated by Rev. Dr. Scott Giles, B.C.C., D.N.G.H., an internationally
renowned hypnotist and chaplain. The September 24 session
focuses on weight loss.   Class size is limited and registration deadline is
September 20 by calling 847-221-2400.
Valerie Reynolds, MS, RD/LDN, CNSC, Oncology Dietician at the University
of Chicago, Medical Center.

Tis program will include a group hypnotic experience, along with insights and wisdom from those who have learned to control their eating.
