Beer Tasting, Lego Robotics and More in Palatine

September is a busy month for events in Palatine. Mark your calendars now!

Lego Robotics - Thursday, Sept. 19: Use LEGO WeDo kits at the Palatine Library to build animals, soccer players, and more--then add sensors and motors and program your projects to make them move. Beer Tasting at Durty Nellies - Thursday, Sept. 19: Expand your beer experience, while tasting a variety of craft beers at Durty Nellie's in Palatine at 7p.m. A beer expert will be on hand to tell you about ingredients and characteristics of each sample.  Share your opinions about each beverage and select your favorite!  Valid District Cardholders Ages 21 and over only. 6th Annual Oktoberfest Hosted by the Rotary Club of Palatine-Fri. Sept. 20-Sun. Sept. 22: The public is invited to attend this free and heated tent event for authentic German music, food, beverages, and activities for all. Check here for a full list of events and times

Palatine Banks Hosts Seminar to Prevent Senior Financially Exploitation-
Friday, Sept. 20:  Palatine Bank & Trust will host a free, informative seminar titled “Preventing Financial Exploitation” at the bank located on 110 W. Palatine Road in Palatine. The seminar will provide seniors with necessary tools to protect themselves against financial abuse. 

Get Wild About Girls Night Out-Thursday, Sept. 26: 
Sip, Shop and Pamper!
