Palatine School Bus Crash Sends Four to Hospital
A school bus vs. pick-up truck accident occurred in Palatine late Tuesday and sent three middle school students and the pick-up driver to the hospital. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
UPDATED: Wednesday, Dec. 19 7:30 a.m. A District 15 bus was involved in an accident late Tuesday afternoon, sending three children to the hospital, according to a release from the Palatine Fire Department. According to a message posted on the school's website, Winston Campus Junior High Activity Bus #WC929 was involved in the accident. The accident occurred at the intersection of North Frontage Road and Bayside Drive, according to the fire department, and involved the bus containing 25 children and the bus driver, and a male behind the wheel of a pick-up truck.
