Two students who attend Fremd High School are the latest high school students from Palatine who have achieved a composite score of 36 on the ACT exam. Mazin Bokhari and Yuki Koike recently earned the highest possible score on the exam, and join a group of other esteemed students who have achieved the same score during this school year. Soumik Biswas and Fiona Helgren, also who attend Fremd, received a score of 36 in the fall, along with Jack Riedy who attends Palatine High School. Four District 211 students scored a perfect 36 on the ACT this year, a score only 0.04 percent of students achieved in the nation last year. According to Township High School District 211, three of the four perfect scores attend high schools in Palatine. Soumik Biswas and Fiona Helgren of Fremd High School, Jack Riedy of Palatine High School and Nikita Pillai of Conant High School all earned a top composite score of 36 on the ACT. More than 1.6 million students took the ACT last year, with just 704 recording a score of 36 on the exam in the nation.
