Additionally, they set a high standard for behavior and positivity while they represented District 211 many miles away from home. “I was so proud,” said Steven Sivak, choir director at Palatine High School. “For many of the students, it was a huge first experience. Some of them have never been on a plane before. Not only were they perfectly behaved, but they also sang their hearts out on a …

Palatine High School Concert Choir Featured Guest on 98.7WFMT Radio

Student Choir can be heard Christmas Day at 11 a.m., rebroadcast Dec. 30 at 10 p.m., and streaming online at www.wfmt.com.

After all the packages have been opened on Christmas morning, the wrappings cleared away, and a late breakfast consumed, my family likes to listen to Christmas music while we wait for grandma and grandpa to arrive for more celebrations.  This year, we'll be tuning in to the local airwaves instead of the usual Christmas CDs. Our radio will be tuned to Chicago's fine arts and classical station, 98.7 WFMT to hear the Palatine High School Concert Choir.
